Determination of Nitrogen in Sewage Sludge

Recycling of domestic and urban wastewater is one of the important issues of today. For this reason, treatment plants continue their activities. Treatment plants have a problem such as treatment sludge, apart from significant activities. Treatment sludge is obtained as a result of the treatment process in treatment plants and a suitable disposal system should be established due to environmental damage.

Within the scope of the Regulation on the Use of Domestic and Urban Sewage Sludge in Soil, the treatment sludge must pass analysis and tests. With the analyzes to be made on the waste sludge, it is allowed to mix the treatment sludge with the soil without harming the environment.

One of the analyzes performed on treatment sludge is Nitrogen Determination. Nitrogen determination in treatment sludge is carried out in the accredited and authorized Nanolab Environmental Laboratory.
