Wastewater Testing

What is wastewater testing?

Wastewater Testing

Waste water; It emerges as a result of many industrial productions such as mining, energy production, food factories, oil refineries. Industrial wastewater must be treated before being discharged into rivers and sewers. The treatment process should be carried out taking into account the existing pollutants. Domestic wastewater, on the other hand, is dirty water from sewers, bathrooms and washing machines.

Wastewater, if inadequately treated, often leads to algal blooms; loss of fish and other fauna, destruction of aquatic habitats; and can cause acute or chronic toxicity to aquatic life from chemical pollutants as well as bioaccumulation of chemicals in the food chain. These impacts are not economically, socially and environmentally sustainable and therefore all wastewater must be treated before discharge.

Wastewater analyzes have to pass certain tests and analyzes depending on environmental legislation in order not to endanger environmental pollution and the lives of living things.
